OVERVIEW

Welcome to Make My Cakes. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Make My Cakes, a trading name of Sprinkles Street Ltd. We operate this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

SECTION 1 - SERVICE ELIGIBILITY

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in the United Kingdom (18 years). You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all orders made at our stores in Ruislip Manor and Rayners Lane.

SECTION 2 – OUR CAKES & PRODUCTS

Artisanal Nature
All of our cakes are handcrafted to order. As a result, slight variations in design, decoration, colour, size, and finish may occur. These variations are an inherent part of the handmade process and do not constitute a defect.

Design & Reference Images
Images shown on our website, social media, or provided as reference examples are for illustrative purposes only. Where cakes are made to order or customised, the final product may differ from reference images due to artistic interpretation, practical constraints, or ingredient availability.

Ingredients, Fruit & Decoration Availability
Decorations, including fruits, nuts, flowers, and other toppings, are subject to seasonal availability and in-store stock at the time of preparation. Where specific ingredients are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with suitable alternatives of equal or similar value or adjust the decoration accordingly. Such substitutions or adjustments do not constitute misrepresentation or grounds for rejection.

Colour Variation
Colours may vary due to natural ingredient differences, lighting conditions, and screen display settings. We cannot guarantee an exact colour match between the product received and any images displayed on digital devices.

Custom Orders
Custom-made cakes and bespoke designs are prepared based on customer preferences and instructions. By placing a custom order, the customer acknowledges that:

Exact replication of third-party or reference images cannot be guaranteed;
Minor design, colour, and decorative variations may occur;
Ingredient substitutions may be necessary due to availability or seasonality.

Once a custom order has been prepared and collected, it is deemed accepted unless a concern is raised at the point of collection. Custom orders that have been collected or consumed are non-refundable, except where the product is proven to be unsafe or materially defective.

Allergens & Food Preparation
It is the customer’s responsibility to review our allergen information prior to placing an order. Our products are prepared in environments that handle nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other allergens. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from traces of allergens.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS & CANCELLATIONS

Offer to Purchase: Your order is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs only when we send an order confirmation via email.
Lead Times: Most cakes require a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
Cancellations: Due to the perishable and bespoke nature of our products, cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup or delivery time may not be eligible for a full refund.

SECTION 4 - PRICING & BILLING

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a Service or product. All prices are in GBP (£).

SECTION 5 - PICKUP & DELIVERY

Store Pickup: Orders can be collected from our Ruislip Manor or Rayners Lane locations during stated opening hours. Title and risk of loss pass to you once the product leaves our premises.
Delivery Area: We deliver within a 5-mile radius of our stores, covering Harrow, Ruislip, Eastcote, Wembley, Northolt, Hatch End, Pinner, Kingsbury, Kenton, Harrow Wealdstone, Bushey, Pinner Green, Northwood, and Greenford.
Handling: We are not liable for damage to cakes after successful delivery or once they have been picked up from our stores.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The name Make My Cakes, our logos, and all digital content are the property of Sprinkles Street Ltd. Unauthorized use of our branding, including our specific red logo and cake designs, is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 7 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. You acknowledge that Shopify is a third-party service provider and is not responsible for the quality or delivery of the cakes themselves.

SECTION 8 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
